We work hard as a Trust to support schools in managing the estates well in order to provide safe, welcoming and vibrant places in which to work and learn. This year we submitted a number of large project bids to the Condition Improvement Fund to target some more significant areas of improvement.
Despite not managing success with all bids, we have secured over £850,000 to bring about a number of improvements Fairfield Primary School.
The project focusses on replacing all of the electrical wiring across the whole site, installation of new fire detection systems as well as fire protection (fire doors etc), installation of new emergency lighting both inside and out and, finally, solar panels to support reducing our carbon output.
We are really pleased with this outcome and will continue to support all of our schools in the development of their estate.
